Im thinking of making a ranger in nightfall. Does anyone know a GOOD name for it and what second profession should i get?

BTW, I'm no noob, been playing 1.1 years and 1500+ hours

Also I'm gonna rebeat EOTN and/or Nightfall with it.

Plus, I'm not gonna use farming or running with it.

What it really comes down to is what you're happy playing. Any secondary proffesion can work depending on how you play. There are countless posts in these forums discussing the various pros and cons of each.

If yopu're aiming for a runner... well there's countless posts on runing builds. That said, by the time you're running you can change your secondary anyhow, so the issue is moot at this stage. Same goes for beating NF and EotN

Character name...Again, depends what you want. Nightfall has a sudo-African theme if that helps. I always find baby-name websites are a fun source for names and offen give their etymology.

And this sort of post is going to set you up for some sharp responses as people are going to deem your questions as little more than laziness on your part.

Theres this one dude with the name Lego Legs which i found pretty funny for a ranger

I usually go Rit for the ress skills and Splinter. And sometimes monk for mending touch.

just some word of advice: whatever you do, just don't litter your bar with a pet. bottom line: pets are useless in PvE. also unless you're a girl, online pets are not cute.

as for the name, just don't pick a name with the word "Legolas" in it unless you want to be just like everyone else.

try something like "Pew Pew Mclovin"

I prefer to use a rangery last name with my nick/sudo name. For example I suggested my friend used (her nickname, its really really cute lol) Quickshot.

Other popular end names in my opinion are
Westwood (or eastwood, something wood)
Swift arrow/shot
Sure shot

Mine for example, is Tifania Westwood . Tifania isnt my name but my ranger is a girl. It is actually taken from a favorite show of mine along with the lastname westwood, so it worked out perfectly.

Also, pets are fine for PvE. Pet barrage! The pet helps tank (Body blocks) while you barrage. Trust me, the pet body helps aggro control along with 1 melee AI or solo depending on the terrain!
